Plumeria Care – How To Grow And Plant Plumeria Cuttings Flowers Plants Seeds – Plumeria Plant Care Book

Plumeria Care - How To Grow And Plant Plumeria Cuttings Flowers Plants Seeds - Plumeria Plant Care BookTestimonial I’ve had Bob’s book since it was first published. It is my bible for growing plumerias. A great help many times. Christine G……………Florida

My name is Bob Walsh. I have been growing plumerias for more than 10 years in Chicago, USA, which is plant hardiness zone 5. What started out as a hobby turned into passion for these exquisite tropical plants.

After experimenting for many years with different soil mixes, fertilizers, foliar feeding techniques, cuttings, seeds, rooted plants, fungicides, insecticides, and more, I discovered successful growing techniques for plumerias outside their native subtropical and tropical climates.

Subtropical and tropical regions of the world have their own built-in advantages and benefits that provide the ideal climates and conditions for growing these beautiful plants. The growing techniques I developed can be applied to all climates in the world as far north as Alaska, and including tropical and subtropical regions.

Family and friends encouraged me to share the knowledge I gained with others. The result is my one of a kind step-by-step plumeria plant care guide ‘How To Grow Plumeria – Frangipani Anytime Anywhere!’.

The following video shows some of my plumerias growing in Chicago. These plumerias are outdoors from May to October. During the colder months of the year the smaller ones continue to grow and flower under plant lights indoors and the taller ones go dormant. Please click on picture below to start the video.

Bob, I stayed up and read your book last night. You are a very talented writer. I loved the way you presented the step by step details on how to grow plumerias. I really like the bonus section of your book with the history growing forms. Since I just planted everything in the last 3 weeks I am going to use them right away. Also thank you for the list of nurseries you included in your book….one is just a short drive away. As you can see your book and all the great information has already helped me out RIGHT AWAY! Thank you so much! Kelly…………………California

On March 1, 2012 I received an email from Ms. Micheline Patterson from Fairbanks, Alaska, thanking me for my “wonderful” plumeria book which she had purchased.

Ms. Patterson informed me that she is in the process of rooting some cuttings which she bought while vacationing on Hawaii.

June 4, 2012, three months later, I received a follow-up email from Ms. Patterson showing her success in flowering and growing plumerias in Alaska.

I have been growing plumerias in Central Connecticut (zone 6) for 20 years. I have rooted scores of cuttings. Recently, though, I lost 2 of the 4 Scott Pratt, and the remaining two hadn’t done anything for two months. I then tried the egg method >>> big fat white roots in what seemed like no time! Thanks for spreading the knowledge of the egg method around.

Now it is possible, thanks to the Egg Method, which is included with step-by-step instructions in this book, to have inflorescence(s) and roots develop at the same time without sacrificing either one.

I just looked through my recently purchased copy of your plumeria book. It appears to be the best book I have ever seen on plumerias, covering far more information and providing in-depth details and explanations throughout the entire book.

The collage below shows some of my plumerias growing and flowering in Chicago, plant hardiness zone 5. These plumerias are grown exactly the same way as described in my frangipani book.

The following picture is of one cutting of ‘Mimi’s Home Pride’ which, according to the owner of the mother tree, is extremely difficult to root and may take six to nine months to root, even on Hawaii.

This step-by-step illustrated plumeria book teaches you everything you need to know about growing these beauties from the moment your cuttings, plants, or seeds arrive at your front door to the ultimate enjoyment these flowers give you in bloom growing indoors or outdoors.
