Discover in a Clear, Step-by-Step Manner What You Must do to Prepare for Your New Pet & How to Take Care of Him
Or have you already decided to do so, but don’t have a clue as to what you should do next – other than buy the dog?
Well, if you answered yes to any of the above questions, then this is one of the most important letters you will ever read!
Hello, my name is Regine Hehn and, truth be told, I was absolutely stunned when I saw my first Akita — pronounced AH’ kee ta by the Japanese and Ah Kee’ ta by most Americans.
These magnificent imposing dogs’ great heads make them look like young bears – or foxes – while their large-boned bodies and curly tails say they’re descended from Spitz-type dogs – the kind that existed about 15,000 years ago during the Stone Age.
I guess you could call it love at first site and as a writer, the first thing I thought when I saw the impressive Akita, was, “I need to write about this dog so people will know how to get one and keep one.”
You see, the Akita is a faithful, lovable and loving dog and that’s why I understand your attraction and interest in this noble animal.
When I saw this impressive-looking animal on the other end of a gal’s leash one day, I thought, “I can see why someone might get one of these just because they attract so much attention or just because it’s kind of trendy.”
And then the gal and I started to talk about her much loved Akita and I started to wonder how hard it would be to raise and train one … and how I could possibly learn how to pick out the right one for me.
I am terminally curious as you can probably tell. So when I got home that evening, I started reading everything I could find about the Akita (there are now two types according to the authority clubs) and tracked down trainers and well known breeders of both types.
I fell in love with this primitive dog and its amazing history and temperament. Since seeing an Akita for the first time, I have basically devoted my life to raising them and to learning everything that I could about them.
Here’s one thing that I’ve learned about the Akita – the more you know about this special primitive dog, the more you respect him and the easier it will be to choose the right one.
That’s basically why I’ve written an ebook on the subject. I want to reveal what I’ve learned over the years to you – so you can have the perfect pet Akita!
That’s right, I’ve written a comprehensive, yet easy-to-read ebook that reveals everything you need to know to about Akitas.
The Akita is a loving dog with an impressive history. Amazingly, he is also the easiest of all primitive dogs to train.
And having the right information about the Akita can help you judge the Akitas you see as well as their breeders. Yes, I said breeders — plural.
You need to talk to a few breeders and meet several Akitas before you plunk down your dollars for a wonderful little ball of fur with a Teddy bear or Foxy face.
That 20 pound fluffy cutie will grow large enough and strong enough to backpack part of your camping supplies into the woods or to pull a sled. When adults, Akitas are able to carry 30 percent of their weight on their backs.
I want you to be happy with your Akita if you decide, after learning all about one, that he is in fact your kind of dog.
I also want you to know that, with the right training and socialization, he will be your best buddy, most faithful animal companion, and downright the smartest, most loyal creature you’ve ever had by your side.
When you find the right Akita, you should want to fight tooth and nail to get him and keep him forever.
Many puppies, bought when they are cute and cuddly, are all too often abandoned when they grow up. And many, by the time they are brought to a shelter or found on a country road, hungry and frightened, are labeled unadoptable. We all know what that means.
However, with the right training and socialization, you will develop a long term companionship that will benefit you both.
An Akita has a long life span – from 10 to 12 years is not unusual, with some longevity champs making it to 14 years – so you will have time to build a significant relationship with your Akita. He will become a close friend and protector in your life, your family’s life, and perhaps even your community’s life.
And If You Already Have an Akita, This eBook Contains All the Tips, Tricks & Techniques You Need to Know to Properly Train Your Akita & Ensure You Develop
The Akita, with its intelligence, warmth, loving calm if dominant personality; his loyalty to his human family and his natural tendency to protect; his relative easiness to train; and his ability to survive alone if necessary, is an unusual and very attractive breed of dog.
“The Only Akita Book You Will Ever Need” is a comprehensive guide to knowing, buying and caring for an Akita – warts and all – that will help you make an educated decision – and, if you already own an Akita, help you to know and understand him even better.
