What sort of poison are they using on our food that it needs three minutes of washing before it’s safe for us to eat?
ALACHLOR – Is what they use to kill weeds in crops. They’ve been using it with the full permission of the USDA since 1969. If this stuff gets in your system it can cause trouble with your eyes, kidneys, spleen or liver. That’s not the whole story – it can also lead to developing anemia and, of course, it increases your risk of cancer.
ATRAZINE – Another herbicide, has been used for even longer, again with the full permission of the USDA. It’s been tested and can lead to heart disease and reproductive problems. Great stuff huh?
ENDOTHALL – Has been around since 1995 – it can depress your heart and your breathing, leading to enlargement of certain internal organs.
Children are at greater risk for a number of reasons. Children’s internal organs are still developing and maturing. Their enzymatic, metabolic and immune systems may provide less natural protection than those of an adult.
There are "critical periods" in human development when exposure to a toxin can permanently alter the way and individual’s biological system operates. Children may be more exposed to certain pesticides because often they eat different foods to adults.

I had motivating reasons for purchasing your book “How To Grow Organic Food”. Three years ago my daughter started suffering from migraines. The migraines were occurring weekly. My husband and I took our daughter to the GP, Paediatrician and Ophthalmologist and after a number of worrying tests including an MRI, the Doctor’s only suggestions were altering our daughter’s diet (removing all artificial preservatives, colours and flavours) or medicating her with daily preventative “drugs”.
The choice was easy. We started by cutting out all processed food. Then we discovered “organic food”. After four weeks the migraines had decreased in frequency and within months had stopped completely. My daughter has been “migraine free” for over twelve months. My husband and I are still amazed.
